It tells you each time your chosen length has passed. A slice of the cake fills in every time it sounds, and enough slices make a cake.
Time Signal
It announces the current time, at the interval you set. You can also choose the hours it stays quiet.
Six paintings
Pick one of the six and the whole screen takes on its colors - not just the artwork in the middle, but the buttons and the text as well.
What it looks like
Shown with “Euphoria” selected - pick another painting and these colors change with it.
The screens are in Japanese here; the app runs in English too.
Pick a length, then start
A slice fills with the painting each time it sounds
The time now, and when the next one comes
When it helps
You get absorbed in something, and the hours quietly stop counting.
This is a companion for that kind of time.
While you are deep in something
Drawing, writing, coding. For anyone who looks up and wonders what time it is. Interval quietly says that twenty minutes have gone by - out loud, so your hands never have to stop.
When your hands are full
Prepping a cafe, setting up an event. Through the stretch where you cannot put things down, Time Signal reads out “ten thirty” as often as you like. Nothing to look at. It tells you the time from nearby, and that is all it does - the running order stays yours.
Pomodoro, at your own length
For anyone 25 and 5 never fitted. Make it 20 and 5, or 50 and 10, or whatever suits you - then name it and save it.
Alongside stretching, yoga, or meditation
It speaks, so there is no need to keep watching the screen - or to open your eyes at all.
Before the day quietly disappears
For weekend work and hobby hours. With the time spoken on the hour, your sense of it stays loosely tied to the clock.
All we truly own is our body and our time.

Add it to your home screen and it behaves like an app. On iPhone: the Share button, then Add to Home Screen.
One honest note
With the screen off, it may not sound. Browsers can suspend a page and its audio when the screen goes dark or power saving kicks in, and the app cannot override that. Leave the screen on when it really matters.
And please do not rely on it for medication, cooking, medical or work-critical timing - anything where being late could cause harm. Use a built-in alarm or a dedicated device for those.
